Topic: PAIN MANAGEMENT IN PHYSICAL THERAPY

 At the end of your 120-hour internship, you will turn in a project paper based on your experiences at the facility along with discussing a specialized topic. The paper should reflect the scope of what you learned over the course of the internship in the form of a written essay. It should be comprehensive and highly detailed as this represents 30% of your grade. This topic should expand on the concepts learned in the internship. For example, writing about experiences working with older geriatric clients in a physical therapy setting and discussing a common medical co-morbidity such as hypertension and subsequent physical therapy management of said condition. You should be including outside research in these projects and compare and contrast your experiences with what the literature says.
