Tools to control

During this week, we discussed the function of controlling and the tools managers use to measure performance. As you can see, this is important to the manager because it will determine whether there is a need for corrective action.

For this discussion board:

1. Identify a manager’s organizational or employee performance need to control and why the control is important in that situation.
2. Classify the control used for that situation (feedforward, concurrent, or feedback control).
3. Identify which tool was used and why.
4. Suggest any other type of control or tool that you would use.
