To Treat or Not to Treat?

For this week's discussion board, I would like to hear your feelings on the choice to treat with chemotherapeutic drugs versus holistic treatments, or to forgo treatment at all.  Do you feel that there is a certain point of cancer progression past which it is actually more detrimental to the patient to continue chemo?  What are your feelings on holistic or Eastern medicine treatments?
