Hi Ramon and class,

You've made good points in your posts about the possible timing of the evaluation process.  The bottom line is you are held accountable as a manager/leader for results.  I find it is important to track outcomes on a regular basis (at least quarterly) so I am aware of where we are meeting goals and where there may be issues.  The higher priority goals are monitored more frequently while less critical ones less often.  We then do a full review on an annual basis with the data we have collected through the year.
