Since moving in,  she reports feeling like a “burden.” Her daughter provides  transportation, manages finances, and assists with daily activities.  Mrs. Thompson previously volunteered at church and was very socially  active but now rarely leaves home. Tension has developed between mother  and daughter regarding independence and decision-making.
