Write 150 words based on the instructions below.

Choose an element in Frozen to write about (or, you may choose to write about a different film that you've been thinking about based on the SOL readings and our class discussions). Focus on: a character, a theme, a setting, a camera technique, etc. Remember, since this post is relatively short, don't take on too much information. For example, if you choose a character, you might pick one scene to analyze in relation to that character. Whatever focusing strategy you choose, make sure you develop your analysis. Begin your paragraph(s) with an assertive topic sentence, develop your ideas with assertions, provide concrete details/examples from the film to support your assertions, explain how those details support your ideas by analyzing denotations and connotations, and end by answering the "so what?" question. Your answer to the "so what?" question doesn't have to be huge. Another way of phrasing the "so what?" question is: "why do these details and insights matter for you?" Or, "what do you want your reader to get out of reading this post? "
