Thermal fluid system design ( report & PowerPoint)

In this project, the students need to work on a thermal/ fluid system, such as a 

turbomachinery machine or an advanced heat exchanger, and have an in depth investigation 

on the system design and performance. Each student needs to prepare a report (in .doc or 

.docx only) and presentation slides (in .ppt or .pptx only) by the due date. The presentations 

will be scheduled for October 17th (maximum 10 minutes for each student). Each 

presentation will be 8 minutes followed by a 2 minute questions/answers. The 

report/presentation should include, but not be limited to, literature review, applications, an 

explanation of how the system works, main equations, evaluation factors (such as 

efficiency), cost and space evaluation and estimation, advanced designs, new design 

suggestions and conclusions.

Please limit your report to 10 pages.
