Reflecetion # 3

This week we discussed some ethnocultural, racial, and historical considerations in trauma impact, assessment, and diagnosis, but we did not cover many other diverse identities (e.g., sexual and gender minority, ability, health status, religion, age, class/socioeconomic status, citizenship status, neurodiversity, etc.). Reflect on ways that these factors, or intersectionality, might influence clinical presentation, assessment, diagnosis, and/or treatment of PTSD. It is completely ok (and likely necessary) to focus on just one identity or component in your response--- otherwise this could easily turn into a dissertation!
