The Transactional versus the Transformational Leader
Journal: The Transactional versus the Transformational Leader
Often there is a misconception that transactional leader behaviors and traits are not desirable. This is untrue. As the saying goes, “there is a time and place for everything,” and so it is with transactional behavior. But first you need to be able to discern the differences between these two effective leadership types. See if you know the difference between the two by posting your response in the Journal.
- Describe the differences between a transactional and a transformational leader.
- Provide an original example of each.
Your posting should be a minimum of 300 words.
