Read Andrew Wilson's section on the Symposium. Then, please think about a movie, T.V. show, book, blog, You Tube selection, video game that parallels this ancient Greek activity. There are many examples in our modern culture. As Socrates argues in The Apology, " The improvers of mankind are few while the corrupters are many."

Is our society "corrupted?" How much has it changed from the Golden Age of Classical Greece?

Write a one page pager describing an example (please do not use Girls' Trip) of modern culture which is similar to the Symposiums of Ancient Greece.
