 Before you begin this week’s reading notebook, watch the Questioning (Links to an external site.) video. 

This week, you will practice steps that should be taken before, during, and after reading. You will read and annotate an article about the Harry Potter book series by completing the following:

• Download the Week 1 Reading Notebook
• Complete Steps 1 and 2.
• Review the Harry Potter (1997-2007) entry.
• Annotate the document either by printing it out, saving it to your computer, or taking notes separately on a Word document or in a notebook.
• Fill out the rest of the Week 1 Reading Notebook template
