The Impact of Drug Courts

(1) Why should drug court be utilized over sending one to prison, (2) Is there more accountability in drug court over being on parole and/or probation and lastly, (3) After your reading and research, do you think drug court is effective in its goals to help those on drugs and to lessen the impact on jails and/or prison?
