The Heart
The heart is a muscular organ located in the thoracic cavity. It consists of four chambers: two atria (upper chambers) and two ventricles (lower chambers). Pick an activity that you would anticipate changing your heart rate. Describe what would happen to your heart during that activity (i.e., increasing or decreasing heart rate) and why. Be sure to explain what causes these changes. Then, give your peer a wave from electrocardiogram (P or QRS or T) and ask them to explain the events that happen during this time, and then give them a problem on cardiac output.
