Instructions: Your planning unit discussed the vote on Brexit. Brexit has raised concern within some units of your firm. In particular, your firm has a subsidiary which is based in the UK and manufactures and sells products within the EU. A senior manager of the firm has asked for a report on Brexit; specifically the manager wants an evaluation of the possible outcomes of Brexit and its implications on the subsidiary based in the UK: how and when will Brexit happen, what are the possible outcomes on the UK and the EU, and what are the possible impacts on the subsidiary. Your group is also being asked to find out what options might be available for the subsidiary; therefore it would help if your group could find a multinational enterprise with similar operations in the UK and include in your report a short discussion of options this multinational was considering or implementing already. You will have to do some research on Brexit for this report. BE SURE TO DRAW FROM REPUTABLE SOURCES - NEWS MEDIA AND BUSINESS JOURNALS THAT ARE NOTEWORTHY - AND GET A BALANCED PERSPECTIVE BASING YOUR REPORT ON ONE ARTICLE, PARTICULARLY JUST ONE OP/ED ARTICLE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, (EXAMPLES OF REPUTABLE SOURCES: ARTICLES FROM THE ECONOMIST, FOREIGN AFFAIRS JOURNAL, THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, THE NEW YORK TIMES, THE BBC, AL JAZEERA.) YOU MAY ALSO DRAW FROM PUBLICATIONS BY THINK TANKS OR RESEARCH INSTITUTES.
