Antibiotic Resistance is an increasing global health problem and week 4 key concept topic on antibiotic resistance givens an overview of the problem and how the resistant bacteria emerge and spread. The U.S. government’s Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Challenge is a global effort in which governments, private industries, and non-governmental organizations make formal actionable commitments for change to address the problem of antimicrobial resistance in at least one of a five commitment areas (CDC, 2020). The purpose of Discussion Topic 4 is to learn more about how different organizations propose to address the problem of AMR.

Part 1 Read about the AMR Challenge project in week 4 key concept topic on antibiotic resistance. On the AMA Challenge website select one of organizations from the list of the list of Commitments Made to the AMR Challenge (CDC, 2020). In a paragraph name and describe the organization: type (government, academic, nonprofit), location, the mission or goals of the organization. Read the posted commitment and in your summary state which of the four AMR Challenge commitment area(s) the commitment supports, describe how the organization proposes to do this (actionable commitment), and how that commitment would or could contribute to a One Health Approach (CDC, 2018b) and explain your reasoning.
