The assignment is for the student to write a 2-3 page assignment, in APA formatting, referenced and cited, and turn it in through the “Veri-cite” upload within CANVAS.  This assignment will be due a date as identified in CANVASS. In this assignment the student must identify several Items:

ASSIGNMENT CONTEXT:

Read, both, the Texas Republican Party’s Platform and the Texas Democratic Party’s Platform.  Compare and contrast the two platforms.  Describe the socio-economic, political, ideological, and cultural highpoints of both platforms.  Identify the three to five of the most important “planks” in the platforms and why you believe to be important. Why?
