During this discussion you will apply a prewriting technique to jump start a poem.

1. Search the Internet for various techniques to get the poetry writing juices flowing.
2. Select one technique and compose a short poem using that jump-start technique.
3. In your discussion post, state the technique and reflect on your experience with using it by answering the following questions:
   • Can you suggest any improvements to the technique?
   • Would you use it again?
   • Which other techniques are you interested in trying?
