Team leadership
In popular literature, you may see the terms manager and leader being used interchangeably, as if being a manager and being a leader is the same thing. You now know that being a manager is not the same thing as being a leader. Discuss the following:
- What is the difference between being a manager and being a leader? Why is this distinction important? Do all great leaders make great managers? Do all great managers make great leaders? Why or why not?
- Some people prefer the leadership role while others prefer the management role. Which role do you believe fits you best? Why do you feel that way?
