Synthesis Essay
ShellyT24For this assignment, you will look at an essay's argument and support or refute it. You will use two outside sources (one of these must be from Galileo)
For the paper, you will form an opinion about the topic--this will be your thesis. Some questions to consider: Is the author of this essay making a valid argument? Do I support or dispute this argument? What research is there to support my opinion about whether it is a valid argument? The rest of the paper will use examples and quotes from the essay you read and your two chosen sources.
Requirements: 3-5 pages (750 - 1200 words) + works cited page (the works cited page is not included in the three-page requirement).
