This week students will learn or refresh their memory on many Human Behavior theories. Human Behavior theories help us organize information and look for patterns. Theories can help us understand and predict behavior. One of the most important theories Swkers use is the Systems perspective. This is a theory which assists us in understanding how all of the dimensions and systems involved with human beings interact. Pay attention to the multiple theories reviewed in this chapter at some point you will need to use them all as a professional Social worker.

Choose a theory from the text and apply it/use it to explain a person or situation in the video you watched last week, Moonlight. How can the theory help us understand the situation (the children, their families, or their community)?
