Sustainability and economics
- Primarily, people think about sustainability from the environmental angle. Sustainability has three major components: environmental, social and economic. Please address the following question in your discussion:
- Is green/sustainable/ecological economy necessary to exist in developed countries (such as US, and Western European countries) in order to achieve sustainable development? Start with defining sustainable economy and then create a response to the question.
- Please support your discussion with objective statements (e.g. Explain: If it is necessary, why? Or if it is not necessary, why not?).
- You can also use some examples to support your statements.
- Use credible references to create the statements. In other words, don’t use subjective personal opinion unsupported by references.
- Journal articles, conference papers, articles from the reputable magazines and newspapers (e.g. New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Economists, etc.) can be considered credible references.
- Your discussion should be minimum 250 words and maximum 500 words.
- Add the reference list of the references you used (this list can have as many words as you need and it counts beyond required 500-600 words for the actual discussion).
