The documents that you submit for your final need to address the following diagnoses:
· Diabetes - you may focus on one type or compare the two, it is your choice
· Spina Bifida - depending on where the lesion is determines the impact of this diagnosis, cover it in a comprehensive manner do not focus on the lesion being at one particular location for the first part of the assessment; if you want to, you focus on where the lesion is located for your patient when you describe patient needs etc.

Information & Rubric
Please read through this rubric and complete your Final as a Word document or PDF. You will
need to upload the two separate documents to Bb via the link which can be found in the
“Modules” area. Be sure the check the due date which is clearly defined in your syllabus.
The purpose of this Final is to apply the course materials to real life. For your Final you are to
research the two diagnoses listed on Bb with this attachment. You will need to retrieve your
research from evidence-based literature – not Wikipedia. Please read through the rubric
provided so you meet the expectations of this assessment.
Format:
You will submit two documents, one for each diagnosis. Each document should be a
minimum of one page, 12-point font with appropriate in-text citations and a reference page.
You will follow appropriate APA format. You must use complete sentences (no bullet points,
charts, etc.). For each section that you need to address, please use separate paragraphs, and
have a cohesive flow between your sentences and paragraphs.
Please address the following aspects in order as listed below and be clear and concise as to
what you are describing in paragraph form. When read, the reader should have a clear picture
of the individual who is in your care.
Section 1:
