Summary the reading and identify and explain key points

Read the article and summarize what you consider to be the key points. Don't worry if you don't understand the entire article. Focus on what you do understand, summarize it, and tie those key points to an assigned reading. Write your response in complete sentences. 

The point of these summaries is to tell us, specifically, what an author is arguing and how they're making that argument. This is meant to be a true summary, which would be useful to someone who hasn't read the article. If you write a summary, ask yourself if you think it would actually be useful for, let's say, someone taking a test on that article (who hasn't read it).

Summary should be between 350 - 400 words.
