Summary-response reports are designed to help you practice gathering information from multiple sources on a given topic. After having a holistic understanding of the issue, synthesize  your findings in a 300-400 word report. The first section summarizes the issue researched, and the second section provides your response to it (e.g., reaction, analysis, or opinion). You are required to garner information from a minimum of 3 sources. When writing, practice being concise and to the point. 

The topics for your first report are economically oriented. You may choose 1 of the following: 

LGBT adoption rights

Human rights being extended to robots

Homelessness in rich nations

The glass ceiling: Women's struggle to gain leadership positions
