Settings before trying to compose your summary. Both the summary (7pts and submitted here) and the checklist (3pts - submit file here) need to be completed to receive full credit.

The summary should do the following to receive full credit:      -it should begin with a sentence that states the full name of author and title of source along with what it is about.

     -restate the thesis and key support ideas (use annotated reading assignments to help) - keeping a similar order.

     -all ideas need to be restated and presented in an original way to avoid plagiarism - *quote where need be - one full quote only, along with unique phrases*

     -should be objective -> only contain the ideas presented in the text and none of your own thoughts.

     -use 'author tags'.

     -between 1/2 to 1 full page
