Subject：Music Literature Survey (Messiaen Reflection)

How does the concept of "End of Time" apply to Messiaen's "Quartet for the End of Time" on multiple levels (imagery, technical)?  Provide and explain both an example from the music, and a quote from the Biblical passage which inspired this work.  How does this concept relate to the environment in which this work was premiered?
