Record the speed of cars traveling down the road. You can do this by measuring the distance between two point, and timing the cars. Or you can set up a video camera (or cellphone) and record the cars. You can calibrate their speed by getting the time they appear on the screen to the time they disappear.

You can then graph/analyze the overall speeds, the number exceeding the speed limit (if there is one), and the difference in speeds. You can examine time of day, number of occupants, gender of driver (if you can see that) and color of the car.
