You will need to complete a statistical analysis on your own during the course of the semester. The purpose of this project is to help you learn how to apply the methods you’ve learned in class. You will need to find a dataset that interests you and figure out what it’s telling you. Two excellent resources are www.kaggle.com (requires registration) and www.data.gov. We will discuss this in greater detail during the term. Failure to complete and/or submit a term project will result in automatic failure of the course.
