Please respond to the following statement, discussing your own fears and apprehensions about the course.  Given what the text author discusses in Chapter 1, how might you organize and plan your own approach to the course?

“Why should you study statistics? The topic can be intimidating…In many ways, statistics allow a story to be told. For example, your GPA may reflect the story of how well you are doing in school; the Newsweek poll may tell the story of which candidate is likely to win an election. In storytelling, there are many ways to tell a story. Similarly, in statistics, there are many ways to evaluate the information gathered in a study. For this reason, you will want to be a critical consumer of the information you come across, even information that is scientific” (Privitera, 2018, p. 2).
