To prepare:
· Review the IR Appraisal Results Log, themes, table, and conceptual map that you already completed.
· Review the example from the previous module on tables, conceptual maps, and conclusion statements.
· Consider how you might condense the information in all these documents into concise conclusion statements that relate directly to your study.
The Assignment: Conclusion Statements
· Develop a set of conclusion statements that synthesize the primary findings from your literature review. These statements should be 1–2 sentences that integrate the main takeaway messages from the body of literature you reviewed.
· Consider your original problem and the relationship to health care administrators.
· Think of this process as going from big to small. Right now, you have larger syntheses of material that you need to distill down into shorter, integrated statements about your findings across your body literature.
· Explain how your conclusion statements link back to your review question and purpose. What are some conclusions from your literature analysis that would help administrators address the problem?
