Hi , 90.91 %

Thank you for your work on your Stage 2.

Check out the template attached: i suggest working an outline, first.

In case you missed it, I shared a sample introduction paragraph by email last week that you may find helpful (for your Stage 3).

As far as content in the actual paper (Stage 3), make sure you're supporting your claims with highly specific, detailed examples derived from viewing the film yourself (for the film analysis part). I'd like to see you draw your own conclusions on the film, based on what you learned from the course, rather than summarizing what others have to say. As always in this class, it's not really about getting it exactly right regarding film techniques but simply demonstrating that you viewed the film and thought critically about it. It's not about being an expert on film techniques, but just watching the films, and trying to appy the learning resources to your conclusions on them...

As you further prepare to draft your Final Paper, here are some things to keep in mind:

· Wherever you are in your writing process, it's important to remember that you're trying to show me what you've learned in the course.

· Make observations and connections and integrate course vocabulary and concepts we're learning.

· The thesis statement is the most important part of the outline:  HOW TO WRITE AN A+ THESIS STATEMENT

· WRITING CENTER  can assist you if you get stuck or need some extra help

Email me if you have questions. Glad to help out as you get going on Stage 3.
