This assignment has two parts, which will be submitted in one document.

Part 1: Discuss several essential qualities of effective IEP’s for students with intellectual disabilities. Note how these IEP qualities will promote school performance success for students with intellectual disabilities in both special education and inclusionary placements.

Part 2: Discuss how you, in a special education leadership role, would ensure the implementation of effective IEP development qualities and procedures for students with intellectual disabilities throughout your school or school district. Note how you would provide applicable IEP training opportunities for special and regular education teachers as well as important IEP information for parents concerning the educational placement of students with intellectual disabilities.
