Spurious correlations
Little fiveJust because two variables are statistically related, that doesn't mean that the correlation is meaningful. There are plenty of examples of spurious correlations documented online, some stranger than others. For this discussion I would like you to find an example of a spurious correlation (you will find plenty by googling "spurious correlation"). In your discussion, include a suggested variable that you think is more realistically correlated to either of the variable in the example.
