In this assignment, you will identify two potential positions in the sport communications field and then provide a detailed analysis of the positions and discuss your opinion of them. 

Assignment Guidelines:  Two-three pages in length, excluding the Title and Reference page.  APA format, including in-text citations for referenced works. 

Assignment Requirements: 

 Identify two potential positions in the sport communication field, one of which you would like to pursue as a career. 

 For each position: 

o Describe the functions of the job.  What are the responsibilities of the role, such as prepare and anchor sports segment and sports stories for weekend evening shows? 

o Describe the skills required for the job.  What skills and abilities are needed to execute job duties, such as software and computer proficiency, interpersonal skills, writing skills, fact checking, or transcription? 

o Describe why you would pursue one as a career.  What about the job are you drawn to?  What are the pros and cons of the job for you personally?
