Speech Outline

Introductory biographical speech (3 to 4 minutes); “the job interview” 

You are taken into a room with 12 people sitting at a boardroom-style table. This is for a job interview for which you have applied.  The head of the employment committee says to you, “Please go up to the podium and in five minutes or less tell us about you and why we should hire you.”
