song explanation

Listen to both "Requiem for the Massess" (1967) and "War" by Edwin Starr.  Both songs are protesting the Viet Nam conflict.  Yet, these two artists (the Association) and Edwin Starr provide one with a listening experience much different from the other.  In this post, address the similarities and dissimilarities  in the content (theme) and the approach to the presentation of the song.  For example, one is choir like and one is soul-rock music.
