Once you've read it, describe how the researchers who conducted the study "operationalized" (defined/quantified) the concept of "caring" in order to measure it and compare different cities. Discuss whether or not you feel that it was an accurate way to do so.

Regarding the study's conclusions, what sorts of things do you think characterize, sociologically, everyday life in Miami (the "305") in ways that make people here feel more or less happy, hostile and uncaring than in other places?
