Merton distinguished between prejudice and discrimination, creating a typology to demonstrate that people could fall into four categories with regard to these.  Which do you think that most people fall into?  Are we all a little bit prejudiced?  If we can acknowledge these prejudices, how can we be more aware of how we view and treat others?
