1.Discuss your views on using the Internet to find a mate. What are the advantages and disadvantages? Additionally, how has technology affected the composition of the family? Has the family changed because of technology? Explain? 

2.Discuss the conflict perspective of family (“Authority Patterns”). Do men have more power than women? Culturally, why do women take-on the last name of men? Does this behavior deny women of their individuality? What does an egalitarian family look like?
