Germany and probably Japan are looking into eliminating all of their nuclear power plants. Do you think it is possible to eliminate all of them in the United States? Why/why not? we have an abundance of coal that many want to eliminate also which will again put more emphasis on either nuclear or fossil fuels. Is one better for the environment? Could we clean up the coal industry to make it cleaner? Should we just add more nuclear plants with better controls and back up systems? What is an idea for a safer and cleaner energy until they can make renewable energy more efficient and or cost effective?
