The purpose of this assignment is to analyze effect of global stratification and the role of political and economic structures in corporations.

Target a multinational corporation/international company and the practice of "outsourcing" to

third world countries. Some examples of MNCs (multinational corporations) would be Nike, General Motors, Ford, Microsoft, and Fender Music. Research its effects on local culture.

Using two to three academic sources, create an 8-10-slide presentation that addresses the following:

· Identify a corporation/international company that practices "outsourcing" to third world countries.

· Identify where the company “outsources” their production and what type of products they make.

· Identify the mission of the company and other relevant historical/current information.

· Explain how outsourcing and global stratification affects the other country, including the positive and negative effects.

· Explain how outsourcing and global stratification affects the United States, including the positive and negative effects.

· Explain how political and economic structures impact global stratification.

· Explain who the biggest “winner” is in this situation.
