Will explore a social problem from a sociological perspective and offer potential approaches to addressing the issue.  

It will not be a sentimental discussion of your feelings or a list of ways to fix the world.

It will be a thoughtful evaluation of a social problem that considers the issue from a theoretical, social and political perspective. Remember you have taken a course on these issues, show proof of that.  

You need sources that are reliable. You need a discussion that is balanced (Your ideas are supported by the sources).  

Employ chapter one’s conversation on a defining a social problem before you begin your discussion of you chosen issue.
