Project #5 - Ch. 9:  Physical and Mental Health

Prepare a report that presents both “pro” and “con” arguments regarding the issue of one having “the right to die.”  In addition, present a brief summary or analysis of recent legal cases related to this issue, such as those of the medical doctor known to some as “Doctor Death,” who helped terminally ill patients commit painless suicide.

Project 6 - Ch. 12:  Family Life

Develop a fictitious prenuptial agreement in which you indicate your expectations and the obligations for both you and your spouse in a marriage.  For example, how would financial decisions, household tasks, and child-rearing responsibilities be handled?  After you have created this agreement, critique it (or better yet, have someone close to you critique it).  Present the agreement, critique, and your conclusions in this extra-credit report.

Project 7 - Ch. 13:  Education

Prepare a report on “school voucher programs” taking into account the advantages and disadvantages, as well as the consequences for different segments of society.
