 The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate that you can compare differences in health care structures and systems in other countries with those in the United States. After reading Chapter 9 in the Weitz textbook, reviewing the Ario & Jacobs and Light articles, and watching the PBS video, create a PowerPoint presentation that compares the U.S. healthcare system with the healthcare system of another country. Put your main points succinctly and directly on the slides (along with helpful visuals if appropriate), and use the Notes section below the slide to elaborate your point in a full paragraph. Be sure you include information about how the healthcare system is funded, the role of government policy, the role of private business, the role of social inequalities, and patient health outcomes. Include a final slide in which you assess which seems to be an overall better system for patients and why.
