 The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate that you understand the social aspects of disability and chronic illness. As you read this week in Chapter 6 of the Weitz textbook, the experience of disability is shaped by social factors such as age, gender, class, and race/ethnicity. For this assignment, create a discussion forum post in which you explain how one of those four social factors impacts the social experience of disability, from diagnosis to treatment and maintenance.
