SMARTPHONE ROBBERIES

You are a lieutenant in charge of Kendall District during the afternoon shift (2:00 p.m. - 12:00 midnight).  There has been a sharp increase in Smartphone robberies around the businesses near Dadeland Mall, including the Metrorail stations.  One victim, a 70-year-old woman, reported she was texting on her Smartphone just after exiting a Merorail car, when a group of three older male teens shoved her to the ground and took her phone.  Another victim, a 30-year-old woman, reported she was walking west on the sidewalk on the south side of the mall on Kendall Drive, talking on her phone when two males "wearing hoodies" struck her in the face and snatched her phone out of her hand.
