  First, a short research paper is just that, short.  While there is no length requirement, I typically see these papers around 2 pages double-spaced.   The short research papers, should be in APA format; however, author notes and abstracts are not required.   Make sure you indent your paragraphs, have proper margins, headings, etc...  Additionally, if you have a reference, I expect to see both the reference and the citation.  You cannot have one without the other.  When I read through your paper, I need to know where something comes from.  Every paper you submit is checked with Safe Assign.  Even if words are changed, it will still be able to tell that the content came from another source.  Please, please, please, make sure you properly reference and cite your material.
