Short essay 500 words

Your answer should not exceed 500 words. If you are getting more than 500 words, you should revise your work. You have ample time to complete the essay. If you can use numerical examples that will be a strong answer that explains the idea of a depreciation versus an appreciation. Use of supply/demand diagram (s) is highly recommended. Remember to include a list of references (which is not counted towards the 500 words).

1. Suppose that as the result of the crisis in Greece, the Euro depreciates against the US dollar.  Why should you care when the US dollar strengthens relative to other currencies?  Describe the ways this could impact your life and that of your friends and family in the US.
