Selection of a Pressure Sensor

 Many different types of sensors can be used for pressure measurement. For this discussion, think about the different factors on which the choice of a particular pressure sensor depends and discuss them. 

 As with most measurements, pressure measurement techniques have varying degrees of suitability for different industrial applications. Measurement engineers need to be familiar with a wide range of pressure measurement tools in order to select the one that is most appropriate for each specific industrial application. In this activity, we explore the factors affecting the selection of a pressure sensor for a given industrial application.
