Topic-  "the Effects of Climate Change on the Boreal Forests in Canada 

• You only have 6-10 pages to cover a topic fully.  You would not be able to do that well for a high-level topic.  Your paper will be much better and easier to write if you make it very specific.
• Any topic with a scientific basis is acceptable, not just the topics covered in this class.  However, please try to tie your topic to some sort of issue that currently affects our world.
• Try to cover both sides of a topic in a fair and balanced manner.  You may take a position and support it, but please be sure to consider the other side of the issue and any counter-arguments that could be made to your own position.
